Doing silly dances and thanking the bus driver isn’t enough. We need an even better way to emulate the world’s biggest battle royale game. Fortunately, Nerf has announced an upcoming line of Fortnite Nerf blasters.
The announcement was made on the official Nerf Instagram account. All they posted was an image of the words “Fortnite X Nerf” in the same style as the video game. They also stated “Who’s ready to add some gold to their loadout?” as the image caption.
It’s not clear as to which weapon the toymaker will create. Unlike their line of Overwatch Nerf Blasters, Fortnite tends to lean on the semi-realistic side with their gun designs. If they base it on flagships, it’d likely be the SMG. But I could also imagine some of the wackier weapons like the rocket launcher or grappling hook.
No word on when the line will hit store shelves.
This isn’t the first time Nerf has partnered with a major video game franchise. They also released a line of Overwatch Nerf blasters based on Reaper and D.Va’s weapons.
