Monday 10-2-17: NiOh Comes to PC, New Rivals of Aether Character, Microsoft Being Sketchy, and System Shock 2 Updates
Welcome back from the weekend! It’s a new month and I’m feeling good so far. Heres a rundown of some interesting things from the last few days.
- NiOh is coming to PC
- Rivals of Aether announced a new character
- Microsoft secretly changed VIP rewards for Forza 7
- System Shock 2 got an update
The publishers of the popular feudal japan themed RPG has tweeted out that it will be releasing on Steam on November 7th. The PC version will come with all DLC, two visual modes, and a special helmet. (pictured below)
The 2D fighting game has announced a new upcoming character. Clairen is a female lion person from the future who traveled back in time to save her kingdom. She wields a fire energy sword thing and looked pretty good in combat. Check out the video yourself below.
Fans are upset with a modification made to an already established reward tiers for the upcoming racing game. Originally the VIP listing included a permanent boost to earning the in-game currency. A few days ago some observant fans noticed its now been changed to 5 mod cards, with 5 uses each. Funny how “permanent” suddenly became “25 times”. People are understandably upset.
After nearly 18 years, the classic sci-fi horror RPG has gotten Patch 2.46. This patch will resolve some old and irritable bugs within the game. You can read the full patch notes here.
Thats all for today, thank you to everyone who stopped by.
I’ve got some plans in mind for improving the site both visually as well as content wise, stay tuned for that.
Otherwise, check back tomorrow for the latest in gaming news, and have a great night.
